Terms of Service

LawNex is a case-diary and legal practice management tool. It covers case tracking, hearing scheduling, client records, document storage, fee tracking, and SMS reminders.

LawNex is a record-keeping and reminder tool only. It does not provide legal advice and does not check whether anything you enter is legally correct. It does not replace your own professional judgment, diligence, or obligations to your clients and the bar. You remain solely responsible for your practice and for following all applicable professional conduct rules.

You must be a licensed advocate, or staff authorized by a licensed advocate or law chamber, to use LawNex. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. An organization owner is responsible for the conduct of every team member they add. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle, as selected at signup or upgrade.
• New subscribers are covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee from first payment. After that window, payments are non-refundable. This includes partial billing periods, downgrades, and unused seats.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable advance notice. Continuing to use LawNex after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.
• We may suspend or limit access for accounts with failed or overdue payment, after reasonable notice.

You agree not to:

• Use LawNex for any unlawful purpose or in violation of professional conduct rules.
• Upload content you do not have the right to store, or that infringes another party's rights.
• Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt LawNex's security, infrastructure, or other users' data.
• Resell, sublicense, or give access to LawNex to anyone outside your organization.
• Use automated means to access LawNex outside of its intended interfaces, or attempt to reverse-engineer the platform.
• Misuse the SMS or notification features to send unsolicited or unlawful messages.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, at our discretion.

You and your organization own the case, client, and document data you enter into LawNex. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display that content, solely to provide the service to you. You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and confidentiality of everything you upload. This includes having the right to store your clients' personal information.

We take reasonable measures to back up data, but we do not guarantee against data loss. We recommend you keep your own records of critical case information outside of any single system, as you would with any professional tool.

LawNex, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is the property of ZAZ Technology. It is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use LawNex for your internal practice management. They do not give you any other rights.

LawNex relies on third-party providers for SMS delivery, email, hosting, and payments. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the availability, deliverability, or performance of these third-party services. This includes whether an SMS reminder is actually delivered by the telecom network in time.

LawNex is provided "as is" and "as available." We give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any hearing reminder will be delivered on time or at all.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZAZ Technology and LawNex will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes loss of profits, clients, or data arising from your use of, or inability to use, LawNex. Examples include a missed hearing, a failed or delayed SMS reminder, or any professional consequence that follows from either. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of LawNex will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold ZAZ Technology harmless from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of LawNex, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law. In plain terms, if your use of LawNex causes a claim against us, you cover the resulting cost.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to LawNex, in whole or in part, for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice where practical. On termination, your right to use LawNex ends immediately. We may retain or delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give notice of material changes by email or through the product. Continuing to use LawNex after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of LawNex is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
